TVCAC Market of Marion Car Show (October 2026)
About this event
One of the events that The Villages Classic Car Club hosts is the Market of Marion car show. The Market of Marion show is unique in that it is held just outside of The Villages on Hwy441 in Belleview, Florida, under the shade of large live oak trees.
PLEASE NOTE: The show itself runs from 9AM to 12PM but club members (and volunteers) start to arrive at/after 7:30AM.
The show is hosted by the club in conjunction with Market of Marion staff who generously provide the park-like grounds as well as offer food, drinks and transportation to the market via golf cart shuttles. The show that is put on is a major fundraiser for various club functions throughout the year as well as also raising money for several local charities.
The show is for car enthusiasts around central Florida, with no restrictions on makes, models or how old the car needs to be. Old, new, foreign or domestic, everyone is welcome!
The show is held on the 4th Saturday of each month, except July, August, November and December.
One of the special events that the club hosts as part of this show is Valve Cover Racing. A custom race track was built by club members and a dozen loaner race cars are on display and ready to race. This is a very popular event with local families and kids.
Plus, there’s a great DJ so we have old time tunes for the whole show. Trophies are awarded at 1pm for the top 15 non-member cars (one of which is “The Presidents Trophy”) and a great time is always provided
For members of The Villages Classic Car Club, club members do not participate in the competition but are encouraged to bring their cars to show, and if interested, to assist in parking cars participating in the show as well as setting up and breaking down before and after the event. If members bring the wives or significant other, there is a huge shopping area to browse with hundreds of stalls.
This is a great opportunity for club members to not only get to know fellow classic car members but to also meet many local talented car enthusiasts that bring their cars to the show and often there are attendees that include various automotive craftsmen skilled at fixing, building cars, doing paint body work and much more. A great way to get advice or find new contacts when you need something done on your car.
